Sea pottery in Phormium Tenax Basket.

The Blue House is a piece of sea pottery cocooned in a Phormium Tenax basket. The basket has a rolled edge border, making a frame for this pretty piece of pottery, showing part of a house in a blue glaze.
The Phormium fibres are hand-stripped from plants that I gather in friends gardens on the islands. The pottery was found on the shore in Stromness.
