A spring tide brings such riches to the shoreline. Exposing stretches of beach, that were out of reach before and revealing a wealth of textures and treasures to explore.
This second cocoon basket in my Spring Tide Collection, holds a beautiful yellow and blue/grey limpet from East Side beach, South Ronaldsay.
The basket is made from Phormium Tenax fibres, which I gather locally and strip by hand.
