A spring tide brings such riches to the shoreline. Exposing stretches of beach, that were out of reach before and revealing a wealth of textures and treasures to explore.
This sixth cocoon basket in my Spring Tide Collection, holds a ceramic fragment, found a beach that we call Whale Beach, Burray.
The basket is made from Phormium Tenax fibres, which I gather locally and strip by hand.
