Leap!

There are times in all our lives where we have to close our eyes, take a deep breath of hope and then Leap!

I know that there have been many in mine and I find myself at that point again, in what feels like a pivotal moment in my life and creative practice.

Making this piece has been daunting, joyous and a breath of fresh air. I can see in it lessons learned from so many previous creations, all the way back from my childhood. I can also see glorious walks along the coast, looking at textures, markings and colours.

Leap! is made with various thicknesses of canvas, wool and jute.
