A double-layered Phormium Tenax coil basket.

Inside and Out is an exploration in textures and the diverse possibilities of one fibre.
Its shape is based on a beach pebble and for me, it is a celebration of this wonderful plant, that has become the focus of my work. It has a cordage basket inner and a coil outer layer. Both layers are made from hand-stripped Phormium Tenax fibres.
PLEASE NOTE : This is not a nesting basket. It is one basket with two layers and not designed to seperate.
