Set of three coastal treasures found through November, each in a Phormium Tenax cocoon basket.
In many ways November can be a difficult month. Right at the end of autumn, the storms in are in full swing, with the light getting less everyday and without all the celebrations that December has to offer.
There's beauty in it though and moments to treasure, if you're brave enough to leap out from under the covers on a chilly morning, run squealing and laughing through the wind and the rain and fill your days with busy preparations for the weeks to come.
Learning to embrace the day is so important and brings happy contentment right through winter.
'Embrace' is a series of three cocoon baskets holding treasures that were found on my chilly walks through November - a large limpet shell, a piece of brick which has been worn into a pebble by the sea and a piece of exposed aggregate cement.
