Lately, I have been experimenting with mariposa stitch as it creates a wonderful open work, which compliments the wrap stitch that I often use, so well.
In Cradled I have used Phormium tenax fibre and waxed linen thread, to cocoon a brick pebble, which I found on the shoreline. A broken piece, which has been smoothed and rounded by the sea over time and is now given new life.
