Bright – One

Bright - One is part of a small series of works, in which I have been exploring the many possibilities of coil basketry techniques.

I have pared back my initial thoughts and basketry sketches, to create these three baskets, which draw on inspiration from my garden and the influence of the arts and crafts movement.

Bright - One has been worked in blue organic hemp yarn, with a flax twine core.
